Mixed media Christams tag

 Hello Everyone,
I am back with another post. Today I am sharing a mixed media Christmas tag. Christmas is one of my favorite festivals since childhood and I always celebrate it.

So I have made a Christmas tag this time. For tag I took a watercolor paper and cut it to a size of tag. Used DI fired brick to color the tag by sponging it. Then applied texture paste through a stencil from TCW and added golden powder over it. next I made a wreath. For this I cut out a circle and cut another circle inside it. Applied glue and added some moss over it.  Made some flowers using red CS and added liquid pearl in their centre. Added some red rhinestones  and my wreath was ready.

Glued it in bottom of tag, added some golden sequins and a sentiment (Bo Bunny). Finally added a green organza ribbon and a leaf charm. That’s it.

Mixed media layout

 Hello friends,
I am back with a new post. Here I am sharing with you a mixed media layout.

I started with sticking pieces of corrugated cardboard, pps and tissue paper to give some texture. Then applied gesso followed by creating background using stamps, DIs, Stencils, white sand, gelatos, sprays and black archival ink.

Added glass glitter using glossy assents. When my background was ready used layers of torn pps, doily vegetable netting to matt the photograph. Added a die cut as frame over photograph using glue dots to add more dimension.

Embellished with flowers (fabric on and red flowers are handmade), pearls chain, charms, pollens, Heart and butterfly wood veneer and bottle charm. Added a family die- cut and added final touches with precious pearls (gold and silver) and sugar dots.

Prima bloom girl mixed media card

Hello,
Today I am sharing a mixed media card. Actually I wanted to make a mixed  media canvas with this stamp but that attempt was not successful. So I switched to a mixed media card.

The stamp is Prima Bloom Girl- Karlie. I just loved coloring her. Stamped the image with black archival ink. Used DI black soot to her color her hair and pencil colors for her skin. Embossed the flowers and flourish separately on vellum and then colored them with DIs. Fussy cut them and placed them on image using foam dots. Added few rhinestones and also used liquid pearls silver on flowers. Fussy cut the entire image and placed it on a mixed media background using foam dots.

For creating backgrounds I used LSG sprays, Finnabair ‘s white sand, prima stencil (dot fade), Stencil from Craftslane, texture and script stamps from Bo Bunny and Kaisercraft’s Butterfly stamp. Used precious pearl in silver over the stenciled areas. Distressed the edges with DI peacock feathers. Placed a butterfly (from itsy bitsy) over the top right corner of card and that’s it.

Another mixed media canvas

Hi friends,
This is my second post of the day!!! Here I am sharing with you a mixed media canvas.

I started with making the background with DIs vintage photo, spiced marmalade, peacock feathers and walnut stain. Also distressed the edges with vintage photo and walnut stain DIs. Stamped some script and texture stamps randomly. Those leaves you can see on background were made using a handmade leaves stencil and DI vintage photo.

Made some fall leaves by drawing, coloring with DIs and fussy cutting and then adhered them using foam dots over gauze pieces which were also colored with DIs.

Made branches with a brown cardstock (colored with various DIs), made nest with gauze and the bird is hand cut (colored with fired brick DI). Sentiment is handwritten.

Masculine card

Hello dear friends,
I am back with a masculine card. This is the first time I have made a masculine card and that also without using any flowers ;).

I started with creating a background for card. For this I have used watercolor paper and then did stamping and embossing. Followed by coloring with DIs; antique linen, vintage photo, spiced marmalade and mustard seed. Next did some stamping using texture stamps from BoBunny.

Then added some gears (embossed with golden embossing powder), a die cut gear (distressed with DI Black soot) from Kaisercraft which I had won Lulupu travel layout challenge. Sentiment is a sticker added onto a CS distressed with vintage photo DI. The racing car is a die-cut from Kaisercraft. Placed watercolor panel over a black CS and that’s it.

Hope you like it.
