A mixed media canvas

I am back with a new post to share a mixed media canvas with you all.

I have made this for Lulupu challenge in which we have to use Black, white and a pop of color. So here in this project I have used Teal blue with black and white.

I started with a canvas and covered its upper part with vegetable netting. Added texture using modeling paste and stencil (TCW- waves) in random areas. Spritzed teal blue spray (homemade) to give color and used pearl black acrylic color at random areas. 

I have also used Finnabair’s white sand texture paste at some areas and colored it with pearl black acrylic color. Added glass beads from prima over it using glossy accents. Stamped randomly using texture stamps from Bo Bunny with black archival ink. Adhered a lace and colored it with same apray and black paint. 

After my background was ready, assembled all the embellishments, embossed cage, gessoed flowers, charms, buttons, wood veneers etc. clocks were stamped and then colred with spray and distressed at the edges with Black soot DI.

Added a resin frame at one of the top corner along with a wood veneer bird.

Sentiment is hand written. Added precious pearl at some places.
