Gate-fold style album for twins

Hello friends!!!
I am writing a blog post after such a long time. Well I got busy in so many things last year and hence stopped blogging. I missed it so much, but now I am back and will keep posting my work.
Today I am sharing with you a baby album made in gatefold style. One of my friend wanted me to make it for his twin baby girl's as they they were turning one this august. So I thought to make it in gatefold style with each side for one of the twins.
I have used Gorgeous Papericious Paper packs for the album. The collection is Little angel and It's a Baby Girl. Litle angel has bright and colorful pps while It's a baby girl has soft subtle shades of pink. I tried to use both of them with a little mix and match. I was hoarding them from a long time and finally used the. I just love both of theses paper packs. Also used their die cut sheets. These Paper packs are just perfect to make a baby album
Here are the pics

Front Cover
For cover I used pp from It's a baby girl paper pack

Close up
I have used magnets behind the mdf frame for closure. The pink flowers are handmade. I stamped the Tilda image twice on bielo CS and then colored using steadler water color pencils. Then fussy cut it and arranged them on top of each other using glue dots to give a dimensional effect. Die cuts are from Kaisercraft and butterflies from Itsy Bitsy store. Used washi tape at the edges.

Cover page and first page
I made a frame on cover page using cottage cutz Rectangle stitched frame dies. a Photo can be slid inside it. Below it is a diecut from paper pack. First page has another die cut from same PP. above it is a die cut for writing baby's name.

Next pages are as follows

Altered wooden box

Hello friends!!!
This is my second post of the day! Now I am sharing with you a altered wooden box that I had purchased from craftslane last month.

I just loved altering this wooden box. I started with painting the box with pearl yellow acrylic paint, gave two- three coats and allowed it to dry for some time. Next Decoupaged the box with beautiful pattern paper from eno-greeting using mod podge. Also gave a thin coat of mod podge over the box. Once it dried embellished it with a glittered bird cage, mulberry flowers, pollens, rose flower charm, pearls and liquid pearl. And that's it!!! I loved how it came out finally!

Some more pics!!

Masculine shadow box

Hello Friends!!!
Toady I am sharing with you a masculine shadow box which I made from scratch using paper, for my inspirational DT post on Lulupu blog. I also have a pictorial for the same. You can find it here
Here it is

Some close ups

Can you see the golden embossing enamel and crackle effect!

I have decorated shadow box in a masculine theme as I will be gifting this to my brother on his birthday. I have used Ranger Distress crackle paint all over the edges of shadow box. These days I am really addicted to using it (I am using it in almost each project I am making these days). Thereafter I have rubbed  steam punk gelatos (iced chai and iced coffee) over it.  This gave a cool effect! I also heat embossed on some places with golden embossing enamel. Then decorated it with pattern papers, gears (heat embossed with golden EP), Die- cuts, sentiment (stamped and embossed), wood veneers and chain.
Hope you like it!

Scrapbook with mixed media cover

Hello guys!!!!
Today I am sharing with you a scrapbook that I recently made. I have used Prima PPs (staiotner's desk, cartographer and fairy rhymes), black and red CS. I am so in love with Prima pps, they are just gorgeous.

Here is the cover page

Some close ups.

These flowers are handmade.

The cover page I made using mixed media. Firstly gessoed the page, followed by distressing using walnut stain and black soot distress ink. Did some stamping using Bo bunny texture and script stamps. Next layer was added using stencils (Tim Holtz dot fade) and DIs.  Also used stencils from craftslane and did heat embossing with black EP. Finally used texture paste through a stencil again and sprinkled some glitter over it (though not visible in pic). Also heat embossed the edges with clear EP.
Once my BG was ready I embellished it with diecuts, stamped sentiment, Flowers, gears, stamped nd heat embossed clock, pollens, wood veneer heart etc.
